Ambient Collective release: “Colours”

The Ambient Collective, a group of talented ambient artists, just release its new collaboration project, with Colours as inspiration source :

Colours: 12 tracks of pure genius. Colours are more than just a
visual thing… you can touch them, feel them and you can most
certainly hear them.

Altus – Artifacts of Distant Memory

A new Altus complete album is available to download. The record is called “Artifacts of Distant Memory” and as always with Mike Carss this is top class ambient music. I would describe this one as being more ambient than ever, more than the others albums from Mike. It is also alterning long and short tracks, 8 in total.

Long lost thoughts emerge to the surface, brought up by sight, sound, smell or touch. At times it brings a reflection of happiness… a longing to return to a past event. Perhaps a haunting memory, dulled by the passing of time.
